The Wedding of
Lindsey Shaw &
Jason Eddleston
October 2, 2021 · BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI
Lindsey always dreamed of meeting a tall Jewish guy who could keep up with her go-go-go lifestyle…but never did she dream of finding a 6’6’’ man who could not only hang, but who gave her a run for her money. To call Lindsey and Jason a dynamic duo would be putting it lightly…their energy levels, sense of adventure, and zest for life truly know no bounds.
This couple loves all things Michigan, travel, food & sports (Go Blue!), but what first brought them together was their love of art. Their story began in May 2015 at the solo exhibit of Shepard Fairey at a Detroit art gallery. Lindsey offered Jason her unsolicited opinions on the artwork, and they both proceeded to buy the same paintings (see? they both had good taste from the start ;)) Six years and countless adventures later, these timeless pieces of art now hang side by side in their home. This gallery wall will mark the special place where they plan to sign their Ketubah.
Lindsey & Jason’s engagement was a long time coming, and the pair knew they were in it for the long haul from the early stages of their relationship. Traveling the world together, exploring countless art exhibits, eating all of the best foods in Detroit & beyond, and living it up with friends & family at every opportunity along the way. Their connection was real, natural and fun…and everyone around them could feel it too.
Since their relationship started with art, it only seemed fitting that their engagement did too. Not only did Jason wow Lindsey with a gorgeous ring, but he surprised her with a symbolic gift that represented their relationship over the past 5 years. Jason commissioned a custom Gregory Siff piece that beautifully depicted their love story and shared experiences since the beginning.
Lindsey & Jason’s bond is a work of art, and they can’t wait to paint the rest of the picture in the years to come.
Cheers to many more frame-worthy moments!
